Andray Blatche Receiving Interest From Nets, Grizzlies

Andray Blatche has received interest from the Brooklyn Nets and Memphis Grizzlies, according to sources.

The Nets have a roster spot open and are interested in a potential reunion with Blatche.

It remains to be seen whether the Miami Heat will rekindle their interest in Blatche.

Blatche finished the season with averages of 31.1 points and 14.6 rebounds for the Xinjiang Flying Tigers. Blatche played a key reserve role for the Nets last season, averaging 11.2 points per game

I thought it was baffling that Blatche wasn't picked up in the offseason anyway. I mean, really, a guy with his skill set at 6"11? The Lakers instead signed Boozer? Clips? Memphis? Miami? He could help a bevy of teams. It's funny how certain players are overlooked and left out to dry while others are pursued and secure lucrative contracts which they may not live up to.

Blatche is good. Don't get why there wasn't interest in the off-season.

As a Wizards fan, I can tell you why Blatche didn't get signed by an NBA team yet: the scouting report on him likely says he has size and skills, but is more into partying and eating then being a professional basketball player. His legacy for Wizards fans is as much for his promoting "Lapdance Tuesdays" with Andray as it is for success on the basketball court. Although healthy, he was told to sit out of games by both the Wizards and later the Nets simply for being out of shape.

Hopefully Andray his matured and takes his next NBA chance more seriously. I have my doubts.
