Dwight Howard is out with edema in his right knee and was given a 6-8 week time frame to rest and rehab before returning to the Rockets.
He will be re-evaluated before that time and he could return earlier. It all depends on how much pain Howard is in.
“I have been working out in the pool a lot, on a bike, some things to strengthen my leg,” Howard said. “Right now, I feel pretty good.”
Howard has been doing strengthening exercises and workouts on an underwater treadmill since having a bone marrow aspirate injection last week.
