Bucks To Introduce New Color Scheme

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Tue Mar 31, 2015 4:29 pm

The Milwaukee Bucks are expected to reveal a new color scheme for their jerseys on Wednesday.

The current color scheme of forest green, red, silver and white has been in effect since the 2006-'07 season, when it replaced a purple and green theme.

The purple theme was introduced by Mike Dunleavy Sr. in 2001.

always preferred the purple and green theme. understood why they changed bc purple is a bit of a niche color. didnt hate the green and red but it wasnt all that exciting either. its Milwaukee so I'd be surprised if they went totally unconventional

sounds like its going to be blaze orange like hunting gear (hunting is very popular in the state) and a green. I personally thing its going to be mainly dark green with orange trim and to my knowledge i cant think of any pro basketball team using orange in their colors. Plz correct me if im wrong but at the top of my head nothing comes to mind. It will be a huge change if they use mainly orange and green trim. personally i like the color scheme if thats what they choose either way but im more concerned with the design of the logo and jersey than the colors themselves.

The Knicks. But they're so irrelevant that I don't blame you for not thinking of them.

Kind of like their floor. Very interesting indeed, not sure how good the jerseys will look.

There just is a limited number of colors that "pop" on a jersey, and pretty much all are already used by multiple franchises.

Blue is used by the Pistons, Sixers and Knicks,
Orange is used by the Knicks and Suns,
Black is used by the Spurs and Nets,
Yellow is used by the Pacers and Lakers (ah, I am sorry, I meant gold),
Purple is used by the Lakers and Suns (are they still using it ?),
Green is used by the Celtics and Bucks and Wolves,
and Red is used by every other team.

Some team needs to man up, choose pink and own that ****.

And for the idiots who'd say "pink isn't manly", well, why don't you tell this guy about it ?

People have been looking for the green and orange combo for years...see concept art:

I like the leaked logo, if legit.

Close to the Green Bay Packers colors, IMO.

Same state, makes sense.
