The Michigan State Bucks? Or Milwaukee Spartans. I thought they were incorporating a different color this year? Something to do with the workman's like atmosphere of downtown Milwaukee?

They incorporated cream in to the jersey. There are a lot of cream colored buildings in downtown Milwaukee, and that's why it's sometimes called Cream City. They also added a touch of blue as an homage to the fresh water in the area, from numerous small lakes and streams and rivers to Lake Michigan.

Like the ideas they presented as motivation for the design but the design itself is very plain and very much "boring". Crappy execution, awesome vision.

These uniforms are dope. Big improvement.

They have such a classic look. Two colors, keep it simple. The silver and red on last year's uniforms looks tacky and dated in comparison.

Cream city brick is a really well known term in architecture and real estate in that area

The vast majority of construction brick in Milwaukee and a few other cities (Buffalo, Cleveland) was fired with yellow clay, as opposed to the red and brown you see in Chicago, Boston, NY... because that's the type of soil they had in those areas

Hence it's a regional thing like how the Minneapolis "Lakers" (10,000 lakes) came around or the Seattle Supersonics (airplane manufacturing), Phoenix Suns, Orlando Magic (Kingdom -- disney), or even the Bucks name itself -- from the prevalence of deer and deer hunting in Wisconsin.
