The San Antonio Spurs expect Tim Duncan to return for the 15-16 season.
Duncan and Manu Ginobili have yet to make formal declarations.
The Spurs are expected to pursue LaMarcus Aldridge on a max contract while also working with Kawhi Leonard on a new contract.
The Spurs are expected to trade away Tiago Splitter to create salary cap flexibility.
The futures are less clear for Danny Green and Marco Belinelli.

Duncan has to be in the room with pop, buford, robinson and holt if they want to seal the deal with Aldridge. I can't see how Aldridge can say no to the Duncan and the 5 rings he will we wearing lol.

That would be great if Timmy played a couple more years to round it out to 20 total! He looked really good this season and it looks like he could physically do it at a high level

Yes, he did look really good this season (on one leg). And he might have just finished playing if it wasn't for Balmer's involvement with the Clippers. Spurs would have matched up very nicely with the Warriors. Maybe meeting them in the western finals changes nothing, unlike what a few wrong calls did to their chances for the meeting in the first place.

It wasn't just the bad calls - Tony Parker and Kawhi Leonard had prolonging injuries the entire season and basically both weren't 100% in the clippers series. But let's hope history repeats itself for a third time - every time the spurs lose a game 7 in the duncan/popovich era they have come back the following season and won a title. In 2006 they lost a game 7 in the conference finals to Dallas than came back in 2007 to sweep Lebron's Cavs in the finals. In 2013 they lost game 7 of the finals to the heat and than came back in 2014 to redeem themselves.

NO PLEASE DON'T COME BACK. I can see what they are going to do to him. He needs to hang them up. He's accomplished everything in the NBA and he's already the GREAT PF OF ALL TIME. So why take a chance.
