The San Antonio Spurs have signed Austin D-League guard Jonathon Simmons to a two-year contract worth the veteran's minimum, league sources told RealGM.
The Spurs will hold a team option on the second year of Simmons' deal, which his agency, Priority Sports, announced Friday.
Simmons averaged 15.2 points and 4.3 rebounds for the Spurs' D-League affiliate last season. He went unselected in the 2012 NBA Draft out of Houston.
