The Charlotte Hornets signed free agent guard Elliot Williams, the team announced Tuesday.

Williams was the 22nd overall pick in the 2010 NBA Draft.

The 6-5 Williams has played in 104 games for the Trail Blazers, 76ers, Jazz and Pelicans with career averages of 5.1 points and 1.5 rebounds in 13.7 minutes.

Elliot Williams is another player whom we'll miss in Santa Cruz. In-between his well-earned 'call-ups' last season, Elliot was a valuable and integral member of THE D-League 2015 Champion Santa Cruz Warriors. Best wishes for a long, healthy and successful career.

He played well down there but I don't see him becoming a rotational player for any team
