Steve Kerr will undergo back surgery to repair a herniated disk.

Kerr was supposed to play in a celebrity golf tournament this month.

"I was supposed to play in the tournament but my back is acting up so I'm just enjoying the lake and the scenery," Kerr told CSN Bay Area's Jim Kozimor. "Can't play this year unfortunately."

Kerr said he'll "be out for the summer."

Probably the weight of all his assistant coaches on his back as they all fought to run the team, since Kerr really does nothing for GSW
