The Indiana Pacers are expected to purchase the Fort Wayne Mad Ants of the D-League.
The Mad Ants have been the D-League's lone independent affiliate.
There would be a remaining 11 teams without a D-League franchise.

Looks like the rest should just get there own as well. It's a good way to develop young players while trying to remain competitive.

teams should get there own D-league team but this screws them over in the mean time

In the long run that can happen but it's impossible to set up so many teams in a couple month. Would take a while the teams would only be ready by 2016-17 at the earliest
Right now the NBA has a huge problem on their hands. Also huge moral issue if DLeague teams are forced to host these other players with no home. They will never get playing time
