Warriors To Host Cavs On Christmas Day

The Golden State Warriors will host the Cleveland Cavaliers at Oracle Arena on Christmas Day.

The Warriors and Cavaliers played in last season's Finals.

The NBA reserves the right to make changes before the schedule is announced but annually issues a tentative schedule in advance of the full release. Cavs-Warriors is the second Christmas Day matchup reported in recent days.

The Miami Herald reported earlier this week that the Heat will host Anthony Davis and the New Orleans Pelicans in the first of the day's games on Christmas.

I hate these games. People should be with their families for the holidays...at home. If the league insist on having games, at least have them be local games. Suggestions...

1. You realize many players' families don't live in the city they play for so choosing only geographically close games does not solve this problem.

2. Chicago and Milwaukee, and Oakland and Sacramento are still separate cities, they'd still have to travel to them

3. These players get paid millions to entertain us and I want to see 5 games on xmas day so I don't really have any sympathy for them. They can spend time with their families when they have an entire summer off or during the day since they don't have day jobs.

I want to see if the Hawks are still tops in the East in the regular season.

-Raps vs Wizards
I want to see what kind of motivation the Raptors come with and how their lack of size compares with the Wizards losing Pierce.

-GSW vs Warriors
Top two in the west with the Spurs having a size advantage.

-Clippers @ Mavs
