Markieff Morris would like a trade from the Phoenix Suns.
The Suns traded away his twin brother, Marcus Morris, to the Detroit Pistons this offseason.
"My future will not be in Phoenix," wrote Morris on Twitter. "#thatisall #backtothegrind #FOE."

I think we forget how young these players are sometimes. Nothing good ever comes of this kind of behavior in public

This guy's an idiot, he's not a good enough player to behave this way and this isn't the NFL where you can holdout for a bigger contract.
He's gonna get into legal trouble if he decides to not show up to his job an he's throwing away future money by not playing.

Am i the only one on his side?, if it is true that Markieff and Marcus signed a smaller deal so they can be together, than he should be acting this way.

Yeah or one of the few. Yeah they took a little bit of a pay cut but they are still being compensated pretty amazingly. So the Suns did whats better for them. This is still a business after all and why would you pay an employee who in your eyes does nothing for your product.

This story is weeks old. Why post this today. btw Marcus is a bench level player Markieff is a legit starter.

I believe this was actually referring to an article that came out yesterday stating that the Suns would 'unlikely to accommodate Markieff Morris' trade request'. The wiretap post really doesn't state that which kind of kills the point of the article that it's linked to...and as a result makes it seem like it's rehashing old news...but this is basically the article that it is referencing...

They negotiated as a tandemn, which is literally unprecedented and if you go back and check out the press conference announcing their signings, both McDonough and Babby openly talk about how important it was to the twins to stay together and if they had gone to FA it would've been almost impossible to keep them together. They didn't shy away from the fact that that desire to stay together was used to streamline a deal.
So then before those contracts even have a chance to kick in, PHX flat out dumps Marcus in a failed attempt to bring in a guy to take Kieff's job. These two seem like complete clowns, but they absolutely got F'd over raw by the Suns. Kieff is absolutely in the right to no longer trust an organization that treated him and his fam that way.

They may have both been able to stay if they had acted like pros. When you yell at the coach and beat the crap out of someone leading to felony charges, don't expect a team to want to keep you around.

Yep, the organization who paired him with his brother for a year and a half and paid them 52 million over 4 years is the bad guy. Makes sense.

maybe not being involved in a felony assault would garner them more good will

this guy is a total a--hole. the Suns wont get value in return, so they ought to make him inactive as long as he's on the roster and trade him to the worst possible situation when they get tired of having him sitting out games. he seriously doesnt deserve the gifts he was given

Also not flipping out on your coach in the middle of a time-out doesn't help much.

suns shouldnt have promised him they will keep them together if they werent 100% sure that they will. He got every right to be upset.

The extensions that they signed under the pretense of sticking together for a while HAVEN'T EVEN KICKED IN YET. So they didn't spend ANY time together on the Suns with the contracts that they negotiated specifically to stay together. None.
I'm sure they knew there was a more than decent chance that they wouldn't be spending the entirety of those contracts together (ish happens. it's business)... but SOME of the contract at least? Sure sounds like the Suns were selling them on that much at the very least and then doubled back on their word almost immediately.
The Morris twins are bozos, but the Suns clearly did em dirty here. Pretty cut and dry IMO.
