Christian Wood and the Philadelphia 76ers have agreed upon a contract.

The deal is for four years and has a partial guarantee.

Wood spent two seasons at UNLV, averaging 15.7 points and 10.0 rebounds per game while shooting 49.7% from the field.

I am surprised because I was under the impression that he had signed with Houston earlier in the summer. I see that I'm wrong now, but I had assumed that was the case for most of this offseason.

He'll have a better chance to play in Philly, so this is a good signing for both him and the team. I wish the kid the best of luck up there!

Yep, I thought that too. Maybe just a summer league invite?

Wood: "Look at me, I can lick my hand while punching my ear!"

Hinkie: "Good enough for me, here's a 4 year contract!"
