LeBron Invites Cavs' Teammates To Miami For Pre-Camp Workouts

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Tue Sep 8, 2015 10:59 pm

LeBron James has invited teammates to join him in Miami this week ahead of the start of the Cleveland Cavaliers' camp on Sept. 29.

A few players and coaches have already assembled in Miami while the majority of the team's roster is expected to arrive towards the middle of the week.

James had pre-camp workouts in Ohio when he was with the Miami Heat.

He's gone.

The Mike Miller and TT debacles did it in for him and I think if the Kevin Love fights continue and Kyrie continues to get injured, back to South Beach it is for Lebron. Why else would he have ANY reason to go to Miami?

LBJ just wants to make a super team with the Cavs/Heat and have half the home games in Miami and half in Cleveland and have the salary cap of two teams....

In what world was Mike Miller being traded a debacle?

Regardless of his shortcomings, or rather, finals series record, you have to give James credit he really is an outstanding leader and seems to genuinely care about the success of his teammates.

Lol lebron isn't leaving the cavs till he wins them a title no matter how long it takes. After he wins Cleveland's first and only championship - ending an Ohio curse. Many believe Lebron could switch teams again. Rumor is that Lebron has a strong desire to become a billionaire like Jordan after his playing career and that if he were to play for the knicks and bring nyc a championship - he could be on the right track. Apparently Lebron was really impressed by the knicks pitch in 2010 especially with the post-basketball business opportunities and potential relationships that James Dolan said he could make happen if Lebron played for them. Another popular belief is that Lebron could go back to the Heat because he sees leaving them as another tarnish on his legacy especially with the infamous 2010 video clip where he says not 2, ..... not 7. Well he won 2 but that's far from 7 so maybe winning a couple more and retiring in Miami could be the victory lap he needs to end a guaranteed HOF career. I would bet that Pat Riley will seek a meeting with Lebron in next summer's free agency when the Heat will have max cap room from the new tv deal - there are reports he's targeting Durant - heck maybe he could find a way to sign both like he did in 2010

Lebron simply wants his boys to be in tip top shape so he wants them to get 'juiced up' in Miami, nothing surprising here.

Either that or he's planning to bring Kevin, Kyrie, & fam to South beach to join Wade, Bosh, Dragon and Whiteside. Then the 'big 3' would become more of a big 7 and his 'not 1, not 2....7' statement might actually have some merit.

Wrong. You serious bro?

That would not work under the terms of the CBA. Unless these guys took minimum contracts with Miami. Get your head out of the clouds with this suggestion ....

Lmao while he wants to he may never get one in Ohio if Gilbert keeps cheaping on key guys like TT. In that case Lebron would leave for sure

first Gilbert isnt cheaping out on everyone else. Resigned,Love,Shumpert,Jr,Delly... signed Mo,RJ,Kaun..

And offering a ROLE PLAYER like TT a 5/80 is not cheaping out. Not wanting to pay a Bench player 5/94 is not cheaping out. its reasonable. Friends and same Agent or not. Lebron will understand that.

As Valuable TT is to the Cavs he is not worth beeing payed like a All Star. period. Lebron wants to win before all things.. he wont leave because Gilbert refuses to ruin the Cavs cap space totally for a bench guy.

The Cavs are already near historic levels with the teams salary as its currently constructed, but somehow Gilbert is being cheap?? Dude, just stop.

He seemingly did and his agent said TT wants 5/94 and "not a penny less" wich is the max he can get.

and Dan Gilbert not wanting to paying TT 19m/year is pretty understandable. Who in their right minds would do that for a bench player unless the Cap raises to 200 million^^

Dan Gilbert can't pay 4 players the max AND sign good role players around them that can compete for a title...

He's this close and the one guy who hustled so much for them in the finals and he doesn't get him signed. It's not about what he's done so far, it's how important TT is to that team
