LeBron James Remains Uninvolved In Tristan Thompson Talks

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Mon Sep 21, 2015 3:08 pm

LeBron James has remained a bystander in contract talks between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Tristan Thompson.

James' agent, Rich Paul, also represents Thompson.

James has passed on multiple opportunities to apply public pressure to the Cavaliers and hasn't commented on it via social media.

When Eric Bledsoe was a restricted free agent last summer, James urged the Phoenix Suns to make a deal via social media. Bledsoe is another client of Rich Paul.

Lebron pro'ly thinks TT is ridiculous turning down the 80 and doesn't think he is worth the deal right now otherwise i'm pretty sure he woulda interfered as he mentally owns the entire Cavs org.

yeah propably

If Lebron thought TT would even closely deserve 94mio he just needs to reinforce "i really think TT should stay in Cle as long as i am here" and the Cavs have little choice.

But he was totally silent.. Lebron is alot of things but not stupid. He knows even 5/80 is crazy for their 6th man. He likes TT and they are friends.. but Lebron is also a buisnessman and wants to also have the best possible Team around him.
He knows you dont pay that kind of money for a guy who doesnt even starts.
