The Houston Rockets have assigned K.J. McDaniels to the Rio Grande Valley Vipers of the D-League.

McDaniels was acquired by the Rockets from the Philadelphia 76ers last season.

McDaniels has played in three games this season for the Rockets.

Keep your head up bro. We support you in the H. I saw you play in Philly vs. the Rockets last year and was impressed enough to be like "oh we got him" when we got you. The D league can be invaluable. Look at Clint Capela, that guy is gonna be a solid backup/starting center on some team for awhile. I hate to see KJ underutilized but we have a pretty big rotation.
