Popovich: LaMarcus Aldridge Is Everything We Anticipated

Despite LaMarcus Aldridge’s early struggles, Gregg Popovich said “he’s everything we anticipated.”

Aldridge is averaging just 14.8 points per game this season, down from 23.4 last season with the Portland Trail Blazers.

“It doesn’t really matter. It’s not about me,” Aldridge said. “It’s about the team, and the team’s been winning. So that’s all that matters, really.

The Spurs are still figuring out their offense but they're first in the NBA in defense.

Coach Pop, is definitely a top 3 greatest coaches of all time, being able to get another all-star type player to sacrifice his ppg, for the team. Also, LaMarcus is looking great right now with the Spurs.

GS is 5th in D right now and their speed make them a bad match-up for the older Spurs. Although Pop has been known to keep a few tricks up his sleeves.

dont worry. gsw's offence is good enough to make others' defence look bad.
