LOL, that's got to be a record. Second coach with a conference leading record fired to show that they were being carried by Lebron.

This pretty much sums up Lebrons respect for others in a nutshell.

While I'm not shocked Blatt was fired I am utterly shocked at the timing of this. I would've thought they'd do it either the last off season or this next one barring a competitive finals appearance at least. it's very rare that you see a top seeded team fire it's coach mid season but it would seem something was brewing behind the scenes. It'll be interesting to see if this move pays off for the cavs in the playoffs but I'm not at all convinced that mid season firings are the best route to a championship at least this season.

You have no evidence that Lebron is a racist, but from the diarrhea that you've posted we can definitely lean towards assuming that you are.

Pretty shocking that they would fire Blatt now. However, I don't think it's coincidence that Blatt gets fired as the Cavs hit the halfway mark of their season. Most likely the front office consulted with players and they came to a consensus that if players weren't more comfortable with Blatt at the midway point, he would be let go.

David Blatt was an unfortunate hire and was probably doomed the moment Lebron went back to Cleveland. Being a head coach in the NBA is a TOTALLY different job than being a head coach in Europe. In terms of knowing player/team tendencies, having smart game plans, and knowing how to get the best out of the players on his own team, Blatt had no shot at being a good NBA head coach in his first two years.

Blatt was a solid hire as a guy to teach a young team how to play together and grow. However, with championship aspirations the Cavs needed someone with more NBA experience.

That being said, it's strange that Lue got a multi-year deal out the gate. He seems to be respected in the locker room, but can he actually be a head coach? Is Lue even going to get the opportunity to pick his own staff? Can Lue hold Lebron/Kyrie/Love accountable?

It's gonna be very interesting to watch the next five Cavs games to see what their effort level is and how well they execute.

Not sure why you jumped to that conclusion. I didn't see anywhere that he said Lebron was racist. Wanting a black coach doesn't make you racist.
