Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Tue Jan 26, 2016 5:30 pm

The Utah Jazz will sign Erick Green to a 10-day contract.

Green has been playing for the Reno Bighorns of the D-League.

Green was acquired by the Denver Nuggets in a draft night trade with the Jazz in 2013. He was selected with the 46th selection overall after spending four seasons at Virginia Tech.

Green joined the Nuggets on a rookie contract in 2014 and averaged 3.4 points in 46 games. He also played three games with the Nuggets in 2015.

Tired of this franchise being allergic to acquiring proven league talent. We have a boatload of picks and a couple of moveable pieces in Ingles, Booker and Burke, yet we keep throwing crap against the wall farming from the D-League.

This happens every January when the 10-day contract comes into play -- not only on the Jazz, but league wide. These are 11th-12th men, why throw money at those caliber of players?
