Chase Budinger Waived By Pacers

The Indiana Pacers have requested waivers on Chase Budinger.


Acquired from Minnesota in a trade last July, Budinger played in 49 games (starting two), averaging 4.4 points and 2.5 rebounds per game.

Can't believe they did it now after the deadline, especially since he is being flat out waived; not bought out.

They signed Lawson so it's not like there was much choice. It's not like they can plan ahead for adding a really good player in March.

Plus it's not like Budinger is going to be a rotation piece for some other playoff level team, so he's not missing anything by not being playoff eligible.

Budinger wants playing time more than anything, and he's kind of fallen out of the rotation for the most part here in Indy.

This kid posted a 14.92 PER in 2011, wonder what happened to him.. should still be quite serviceable as a role player.

The headline should read "pacers waive chase budinger"

Why is every headline worded awkwardly in the passive voice?

This website is so unprofessional...
