Seth Curry Declines $1M Option With Kings To Become Free Agent

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Fri Apr 22, 2016 9:20 pm

Seth Curry will decline his $1 million player option for the 16-17 season with the Sacramento Kings to become a restricted free agent.

Curry averaged 6.8 points, 1.5 assists and 1.4 rebounds in 44 games this season and established himself as an NBA rotational guard.

After going unselected in the 2013 draft out of Duke, Curry played in the NBA Development League and on 10-day contracts with Cleveland, Memphis and Phoenix.

Curry's play in Summer League with the Pelicans led to a two-year guaranteed deal with the Kings.

Even Seth Knows how trash the Kings organization is.

He should sign with the Warriors.

Don't act like a punk. He's worth more than the option

Yeah because they have a lot of playing time and cap space right.

Seth Curry will obviously go wherever will pay him the most. Not sure what he will get, but he is a nice bench player.

I can see the Hornets going after him JUST for ticket sales.
Clippers would be weird since they're a former Warrior rival.
Warriors have no room or money and doubt Seth wants to play with Steph.

Makes sense he would look for a new contract after finishing the season so strongly. Any team that needs a shooting threat off the bench would be lucky to have him.

Seth Curry is 25 years old, and he's had about 10 good games in his entire career.

At this point, he still needs to prove he can be a reliable rotation player.

I think Seth has proved if you give him the minutes he will produce

I think he has already proved that he's a good rotational player. and the kid is clutch just like his dad and brother. there's always a place in the nba for these kind of guys
