Knicks Interested In Courtney Lee

The New York Knicks have interest in Courtney Lee in free agency.
New York has a hole to fill at shooting guard and are hoping to have leftover money to sign one after likely adding Joakim Noah.
Lee was traded by the Memphis Grizzlies to the Charlotte Hornets at the deadline.
The Sacramento Kings also have interest in Lee.

I am kinda liking what the Knick are attempting to do...bring some grit and grind to NY! If indeed they are trying to get Lee and Noah!

Are you a Knicks fan? Well, stop it stop it. What the Knicks are doing is called cutting their nose in spite of their face. Going after Noah is good move, actually, no it's a great move but what about the cap? Don't give that "It's New York, they will find a way to get the money" B.S. Are they moving in the right direction? Yes, they are but at the same time they are going to hinder the growth of Kristaps, who is 20 yrs old and has a great deal of potential. Then you also have an aging star like Melo who right now can't really stay healthy, and is ball stopper; then you also have Rose who is looking to re-sign for the new max-contract next off-season and don't forget the bench, Courtney Lee isn't looking to sign the MLE, he wants a contract worth at $9-$11 per season.

I am NOT a Knicks fan. Never will be. But of the players they are looking to add, if its true, they may be a gritty little team. I didn't check cap situation. I just like the players they are trying to add. That's all. I always like Lee from him being here in Orlando.

Knick fan here. I am happy just knowing that (on paper at least) we will be a much more competitive team this up and coming season no matter who they sign. Hey I am not, and nobody else in this chat room is either the GM of the Knicks so we do not get a vote. And I am reading way too many articles written online saying that Noah is probably gonna be a Knick. So it is probably gonna come to pass. I will root as hard as I can for whatever names end up on the roster........GO KNICKS !!!!!!!

Al Trautwig and his fellow Madison Sq Garden studio network guys seem to be favorable to Courtney Lee.....we will see soon....GO KNICKS !!!!!!
