Pau Gasol Receiving Offers In $18M-$22M Per Year Range

Pau Gasol has been receiving interest from a number of teams with offers in the $18 million to $22 million per year range on a short-term deal.

Gasol has received interest from the Toronto Raptors, Portland Trail Blazers, Chicago Bulls, Minnesota Timberwolves and San Antonio Spurs amongst others.

Gasol has been expected to wait until Kevin Durant agrees to terms with a team before making his decision.

If Pau is waiting for Durant's decision it is most likely that he will not pick one of the above mentioned teams unless Durant picks San Antonio. It looks like he is going to San Antonio if Durant is not or there would be no reason to wait. He is just waiting to see if San Antonio's money is going to be available to him or not and if not, he will choose from the list above.

I think he is waiting, because $ isn't his biggest motivator. Otherwise, he'd sign-up quickly. Man, if he is used well, he could be huge for a contender.
