Bucks, Nuggets Continue To Pursue Dwyane Wade

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Mon Jul 4, 2016 2:28 am

The Milwaukee Bucks and Denver Nuggets continue to pursue a deal with Dwyane Wade.

Wade remains a free agent as he's been unable to agree upon terms so far with the Miami Heat.

The Bucks don't have enough cap space to sign Wade currently, but they have confidence of being able to trade away Greg Monroe. Milwaukee is scheduled to meet with Wade after the 4th of July holiday.

Why is Denver wasting their time chasing this pipe dream? There is no chance Wade make's his boy Carmelo's former stomping ground his new home. The Bucks make more logical sense since Wade went to college at Marquette (in Milwaukee) and has a good relationship with Jason Kidd dating back to their run on past Olympic Teams. Bucks also have a new arena and a couple of young rising stars like greek freak and jabari parker.

He's doing it for the offer size he wants to use as leverage with most likely the heat and maybe the bucks.
