The difference is being disrespected. He sacrificed for The Heat, and The Heat did not return the favor.

Isn't tax based on where you live anyway?

you know who has everyone's respect? tim duncan.. he takes less and less money so the team can win and be competitive... now Dwade just looks like Kobe.. if he stayed with the heat for $25M, they got money stuck in bosh (who may not play another game.. definitely not 60games/season) and whiteside, and he doesnt play 82 games a season. he will finish his career like kobe.. on a losing team on the rebuild and the only highlight of his last hurrah is 60pts on his last game..

Everything he did was done for himself. I seriously don't get the sacrifice bit. Yes, he took a little less money so Lebron and Bash could come to town. Yes, he foolishly opted out of a contract so that Lebron could resign but Lebron left. He did these thing for himself... it wasn't charity. He wanted to win. If he still wanted to win he would have taken the Heat's first or even second offer. This is the first time I've ever seen somebody suck out of spite!

Tim took less money so the team could sign Aldridge. The Heat want Wade to take less money so they can sign... Nobody.

Really weird move for Chicago, deal away D Rose and add an equally worn out player. Perhaps wade has a bit more left in him but I can't see him taking that Chicago team anywhere near the finals.
