Mike Bibby Jr. Commits To South Florida

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Tue Aug 9, 2016 10:50 pm

South Florida has signed Mike Bibby Jr., who is the son of Mike Bibby.

Bibby is a 6'3 guard who can handle the ball and also run the offense.

Bibby had two knee surgeries on the same knee in high school to repair a torn meniscus that cost him most of his junior year, but he is now playing without a knee brace and appears to be healthy.

This can't be good for him going forward.

Having these kind of surgeries earlier in life rather than later helps tremendously. Your body takes to the surgery better and you bounce back faster as you are still growing.

Opposed to what the 23 year old that has already got his NBA contract or at least the belief from the NBA that will draft and stash him like a Noel or Embid before cutting or ignoring him as damaged goods?... or a 30+ year old that has already been the best version of his prime self and accomplished most of the highest levels, made his money etc?
