The Los Angeles Lakers are rebuilding around a young core of D'Angelo Russell, Brandon Ingram, Larry Nance Jr., Jordan Clarkson and Julius Randle.

The path came into fruition after being near the top of the draft for several seasons and striking out in free agency.

"If you grow from within, you control your own destiny," Luke Walton said. "That's the game plan. We want to see what this group can do. We don't want to rely on anything else -- on free agency, or trades."

Walton was an assistant coach previously with the Warriors, who built their core through the draft before signing Kevin Durant in free agency.

Would be good playing them at once to consider build around them.

Currently that happened 7 minutes in 6 games this season.

To 'grow from within', you need some good drafts, which are not 100% in your control either. There's the draft class for one, and the lottery for another.

But I guess Lakers tried really hard and achieved good lottery results.

Funny that the Knicks brought in a former defensive player of the year. Forget that Noah is playing under the numbers. Nevertheless, his brashed NY-bread influence, is starting to come to fruition just as Jackson planned.

Courtney Lee, is probably playing the his best ball of the season right now.

And former MVP and a young 28 year old Derrick Rose has recently has shown how obviously valuable, he is to the team.

And a refreshed Jennings running the second unit, has been a boom, for the young players on the Knicks bench.

I'd say that the New York Knicks, are a good landing spot for ALOT of future free agents.
