This is fan voting. Fans vote in the starters not the actually All Stars. ZAZA will not be in the all star game. Wade is a proven Vet and fan favorite just like Kobe was last year. He will get it just because of who he is and the fans wanting to see him. I can understand that pick. Plus he's been playing well this year.

This is where sports demonstrates why real life operates differently...
Consider the Electoral College vs Popular vote. Now you can see why it's important to have a weighted system, so stupidity can be avoided.

Zaza is the "all cali" popular choice.

All star starter voting is weighted this year.

Fan voting only accounts for 50%
NBA players votes count for 25%
Some media panel accounts for 25%

Zaza is in there by popularity. Zaza is not one of the most talented front court player. He obviously has a lot of loyal fans voting for him. Zaza almost has as many votes as Curry!
