Ricky Rubio Leaves Wolves For Personal Reasons

Ricky Rubio has left the Minnesota Timberwolves for personal reasons and will miss Sunday's game against the Denver Nuggets.

Tom Thibodeau said he expects Rubio to get back into town late Sunday and rejoin the team for practice Monday.

Rubio didn't play in the second half of Thursday's game due to tightness in his left hip.

Rubio has been the subject of trade rumors for much of the season.

to make sure he doesnt get injured and become untradable like rudy gay a few days ago

HIs grandmother died.

Tough season for Rubio, who lost his mother recently as well.

Ricky's grandmother died. As the other poster said, he lost his mother less than a year ago as well. This has nothing to do with his trade value. Well wishes to Ricky.

I hate that we live in a time when we see the phrase "personal reasons" and we all believe that he had some sort of horrible calamity with the team or coach, when in reality it "really" is "personal reasons".

It's sad that the media is held in such low reguard that even when they tell the truth we just do not believe what they say.
