Pelicans Pursuing Trade For DeMarcus Cousins, Paul George

The New Orleans Pelicans have made trade inquires on both DeMarcus Cousins and Paul George.
New Orleans is making everyone on their available to pair Anthony Davis with another All-Star talent, including Buddy Hield.
The Pelicans have made more progress in their attempts trading for Cousins.
New Orleans currently owns all of their own future first round picks.

The Pelicans have nothing to give up with enough value to get Cousins or George.

I don't get it. If anybody should be thinking of making a deal with the Celtics for a solid role playler plus Brooklyn draft picks it should be the Pelicans.
