The Philadelphia 76ers have been awarded an injury hardship exception.

The 76ers will sign Alex Poythress of the Fort Wayne Mad Ants.

The 76ers recently ruled out both Robert Covington and Jahlil Okafor for the remainder of the season. Joel Embiid had already been ruled out.

Philly will be taking over soon, if Embiid comes back from surgery good and Simmons is also, you mix that in with Saric,Holmes,Rodriguez,Covington, and their current draft pick and they will be scary.

I don't really get this. There are teams that have been losing and tanking just as long, if not longer than us, that are healthier and are still worse than us.
