Blazers To Decline $7.33M Team Option On Festus Ezeli

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Tue Apr 25, 2017 10:03 pm

Neil Olshey confirmed that Festus Ezeli will not return to the Portland Trail Blazers next season.

Ezeli underwent an experimental knee surgery in March.

Ezeli signed a two-year, $15.2 million contract with the Blazers last offseason. The Blazers will decline their second-year option worth $7.33 million.

Ezeli didn't appear in any regular season games for the Blazers.

Festivus likely resigns in Golden State for a mid level exception...

Last mention of him had been CJ McCollum hushing him up and saying they didn't appreciate his admonishing.

Well, I hoped he saved enough of those $7.33M to live off the rest of his life.

And yet he was still a far better signing than mozgov/deng
USA Celtics in full effect. Amazing chemistry building experience right there for the main core of the team

Proceeds to finish 7th and shames the entire nation!

If Warriors had a brain they'd keep Zaza for minimum and try to Keep Javale but if for some reason Warriors want to sign Festus they'll offer him the bare minimum and he'd take it
