Pistons Interested In Trading No. 12 Pick For Established Player

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Tue May 30, 2017 7:54 pm

The Detroit Pistons have interest in trading the 12th overall pick in exchange for an established player.

The Pistons received little production out of their first round picks from the past two seasons during the 16-17 season as Stanley Johnson and Henry Ellenson struggled to make an impact.

Stan Van Gundy is entering his fourth season with the Pistons and the team has made just one playoff appearance.

Not a bad proposition. But with 2 years left and realizing players usually take a full year to recover from major injuries. I'm curious to see him next year.

He was being sarcastic. The Raptors are probably going to have to give up a 1st rounder just to dump his contract.

Melo won't waive his ntc unless he lands on a playoff team in a big city. Bets are on Wizards to try an acquire him before they resign Otto Porter to his own max deal this summer. Melo was born in Brooklyn but grew up Maryland so going to DC is like another homecoming for him and he could form a nice quartet with Wall-Beal-Porter to challenge the Cavs and Celtics in the east.

The Spurs could use that pick.

Would you call Kelly O established?
