Ian Clark Could Receive Deal Above Mid-Level Exception

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Mon Jun 5, 2017 2:30 pm

Ian Clark could command a deal over the mid-level exception in the offseason, according to executives.

Clark has been a strong contributor in the Golden State Warriors' rotation capable of playing either guard position.

Clark re-signed with the Warriors last offseason on a one-year deal.

Clark entered the NBA in 2013 with Utah Jazz before a brief stint with the Denver Nuggets in 14-15.

Another great example of how a great organization, such as Ws and Spurs, can develop un-drafted players into serviceable ones. Unlike those hired gun organizations that only complain about top heavy as F even with the highest payroll of all time, the only solution for them is pay more money or trade more asset away for more proven players.

Clark is a very nice scoring guard who would be an awesome 6th man off the bench, pretty much like the Leandro Barboza and Patty Mills role.

The Nuggets have too many good players but not enough great players?

Thanks for the honesty.

Lets be real, GSW needed to get a proven player to be in the position they are in right now and greatly benefited from Curry's injury. Next year they will have one of the highest salary caps ever by pimping the CBA like anyone else in the top heavy league.
