David Blatt To Remain With Darussafaka

David Blatt will remain as head coach of Darussafaka and will not return to Maccabi Tel Aviv this summer.

Blatt had agreed upon a new deal with Maccabi but was unable to reach an agreement with Darussafaka to be let out of his contract.

Blatt coached Maccabi from 2010 until 2014 when he joined the Cleveland Cavaliers. Blatt was fired as head coach of the Cavaliers in January of 2016.

I'm surprised he never got another NBA gig. He did have a learning adjustment his first year, but the guy was a good coach and managing LeBron's first season back in Cleveland could not have been easy.
