Very good role player, and role model for the younger guys. On & off the court.

Wait, so Philly just paid $34M for Reddick and Johnson, when they could have spent the same or probably much less to sign homeboy Kyle Lowry instead?

Colonjello... LOL.

Yeah, because after trading up to the #1 pick to draft a PG , what you want to do is sign a 31 year old PG to a max deal.

These are one year contracts, not a big deal

it looks like Philly is going after veterans that are not going to demand much spotlight but are solid contributors and good role models.

Yes it's a lot of money, especially for J.J., but it could turn out to be worth it surrounding the young guns with those type of players, and only committing for 1 year.

Trust the process? Maybe...

They don't want to impede on the development of Simmons and Fultz. Lowry controls the ball and tempo and those two need to learn. Plus he would want more than a 1 year contract and with these 1 year deals they maintain flexibility. They could even move these guys for picks to contenders by the deadline. I'm impressed with the Sixers right now. (Celtic's fan)

One year?

Why?

He thinks he's gonna get plenty more pt than in Boston?

Very risky move
