Ty Lawson May Have Deal With Shanxi Dragons

Ty Lawson announced on social media that he had reached an agreement in China with the Shanxi Dragons but he later denied it.

Lawson played for the Sacramento Kings last season.

As far as I can tell, anger management and a severe drinking problem have derailed his career beyond repair. It's a shame, but nothing beyond what he could have controlled.

I could totally see the lakers giving him a camp invite unless they can sign another vet backup pg

It's just lonzo ball right now, with Clarkson backing up. Really need a point guard off the bench who can give 12-18 solid backup pg mins a night without hurting the team

Maybe he should tear it up in the 3 on 3 league this summer and let them know he means business?

There are also several NBA teams interested per his agent. Sounds like Ty has 10 or so offers to consider, he should make an ESPN special when he makes his decision on live TV.

Lakers should get him, they need a veteran point guard, and he can guard the quicks.

He's still very effective and would be a steal for any contenting team. Multiple DUI cases derailed his reputation badly, but never heard he's a bad locker room guy.
