Magic Sign Wesley Iwundu To Three-Year, $4.1M Deal

The Orlando Magic have agreed to a three-year, $4.1 million deal with Wesley Iwundu. The deal is fully guaranteed.


Orlando selected Iwundu No. 33 overall out of Kansas State.


Iwundu averaged 13.0 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.0 steals per game as a senior at Kansas State.

Soooo... who were the Magic competing with to pay this kid $4 million guaranteed?

no one, he was our 2nd round draft pick and only 2 years guaranteed $ with team option for 3rd year.

If the third year is team option, then it makes more sense. The Wiretap article said it was 3 years, fully guaranteed.
