This isn't even debatable. Kobe can't hold Lebron's jock strap.

There is a gap the size of the grand canyon between them in terms of production. Sure Kobe has more rings, but that's irrelevant. Basketball is a team sport. Opponent strength is not the same in each era either. Kobe won 3 rings playing alongside one of the greatest players of all time (Shaq), and then another two during a weak era.

He was a good player, but statistically, he wasn't even close to Lebron.

when he was averaging over 30 his teams averaged 46 wins. when kobe is shooting that much it's not a good sign for a team. over 5 championship seasons he averaged 26 (27 in playoffs)
