Ten Teams Transferred $201M In Revenue Sharing To 15 Other Teams

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Tue Sep 19, 2017 2:59 pm

After the 16-17 season, 10 teams transferred a combined $201 million in revenue sharing to 15 other teams.

The Toronto Raptors, Brooklyn Nets, Miami Heat, Dallas Mavericks and Philadelphia 76ers neither contributed or received in revenue sharing.

The Golden State Warriors, New York Knicks, Los Angeles Lakers and Chicago Bulls contributed $144 million (71.5 percent) of revenue sharing transfers.

"The need for revenue sharing was supposed to be for special circumstances," one large-market owner told ESPN.com, "not permanent subsidies."
