Rajon Rondo has been diagnosed with a sports hernia.

Rondo will travel to Philadelphia this week to determine whether he needs surgery.

Rondo signed a one-year, $3.3 million deal with the New Orleans Pelicans this offseason.

The Pelicans expect Rondo to miss approximately one month.

It cant be coincidence that so many players develop injuries once they join the Pelicans. How long before management starts questioning the methods of their training staff?

So a mildly nagging Injury is getting a Hernia?

If they are all similar injuries ala Portland than it might be the training staff. If the injuries are random than it's probably just bad luck. How many hernias have their players suffered?

Pels are a disgrace. With or without Rondo. Poor management, bad coaching.
