Ben Simmons intends to represent Australia in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
"I definitely want to play for the Boomers," said Simmons. "I’ve told a lot of my guys and my coaches that I’ll definitely be wanting to play."
Simmons was raised in Australia and also has citizenship in the United States.
"It’s going to be a great team. A very young, quick team. I think the future of Australian basketball is going in the right direction."
Simmons didn't participate in the 2016 Olympics.

No simmons should be PG because its his best spot.. Patty can play the 2 he is more of a shooter anyway.. Delly can rotate.. Ingles is perfect for Simmons as PG he has a spot up shooter to hit.. Its not enough though as good Simmons can become and he may one day even be the best player in the league the second best player on the Aus team compared to the USA team will be such a drop off even Simmons sublime skills wont win it for us.. But with Simmons we should medal and it will be a great challenge for him a challenge I wish Kyrie had also accepted..
