LeBron James Talks About Enjoying Christmas Games At Staples Center

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Sun Dec 24, 2017 8:28 pm

LeBron James was asked about his memories playing on Christmas Day.

James' teams have played in Los Angeles several times over the years. James has been linked to potentially signing with the Lakers during the 2018 offseason.

"Playing in the Staples Center is always a treat," said James. "I've never had the opportunity to play in the Garden, but playing in the Staples Center, I've been there quite a few times. It's kind of always fun to play in front of that crowd and have that atmosphere."

James and the Cavaliers have played against the Warriors on Christmas Day in 2015, 2016 and now 2017.

Weird? When did LeBron play in the Staples Center at Christmas? 1-2 times when he was still with the Heat..I don't even remember.
The media and Lebron always trying to cook up controversy where there isn't any

Nah, more money in Cle. He is Cle. No one cares about LA. They haven't been relevant in a long time. He wouldn't win anything there either. The Lakers aren't a good team & have a poor core, especially out west.

These stories are so bizarre. "Going to some irrelevant, middling squad that no one watches or cares about!"

Yea but he's got to make the big market teams fight for him so he can get a bigger deal even if he does return.

Lakers will always be relevant. They may not be good but they will always be relevant and people would go and watch every game if lebron joined the young talent in LA

Nobody watches the Lakers or care about them lol? Lakers, one of the worst teams in the NBA, were the number 1 profitable team by a large margin last season. You know who came in second? The championship Warriors. Ignorance at its finest. Lakers run the NBA and will always be relevant.

he's getting a max deal no matter what. there's no need for lebron to make anyone fight for him, they'll do it of their own accord.

Lakers run absolutely nothing & are profiting off the residual effect of the Bryant years. Similar to the Bulls up into the Brand years post Jordan, until everyone realized they weren't going anywhere.

Don't worry, lol. The Lakers will get there. It'll probably take two or three more botched up draft picks, and at least two more "strike outs" in free agency, before "Lakers fans" realize that no one is coming to "save them". Pretty soon the "Ingram can become Kobe!" rumbles will peter out as well.

The NBA is transitioning into permanent parity, and the Lakers are a middle of the pack, treadmill squad.

People will watch LBJ wherever he plays. He would be the attraction, not the average Lakers & their humdrum young core.:

The Lakers aren't relevant & haven't been for a long time. Bleak.future as well.

LeBron played the Lakers at Stables with the Cavs. Three times total.

2009 - With Cavs
2010 - With Heat
2013 - With Heat

I said "transitioning". Yes, it's top heavy right now. Give it 4/5 years & the league will look completely different. Thankfully.
