Magic Johnson and Rob Pelinka were hired to run the front office of the Los Angeles Lakers approximately one year ago and while they have remained steadfast in their plan to maximize their 2018 cap space, the team has yet to show a real improvement.

There also may be issues between Johnson, who has the final say on the roster, and Pelinka, who is running the day-to-day operations.

I am not sure what else anyone expected, but this is exactly what I saw coming.

First off Magic lost me the moment he decided to go all in with Lonzo Ball I personally do not like the kid, he is a straight up clown and does not have the competitive drive it will take to bring the Lakers to the top. Magic was right about Ingram, Ingram has what it takes to be elite but not Lonzo.

The kid Lonzo acts like a mummy in interviews and is a whole different person when it does not pertain to basketball, that's the kind of leader you Laker fans want going forward? Good luck. Kuzma is getting way too much hype and is another clown himself, everyone should be moveable with the exception of Brandon Ingram.

Why? Isn’t Magic the one who hired him? Did he expect the team to be a contender or something?

The Lakers are young and are showing improvement lately so I don’t see why he’d be mad at anyone right now. Maybe next year if the team still sucks and hasn’t shown progress with their young players.

I'm just saying the kid should be focused on basketball and is fooling around performing in Lithuania? WTF is that? He should be in that gym working on his game, he'll never be a 20 point 10 assist guard in the NBA, definitely not #2 pick worthy, he'll never be better then Jason Kidd or Stephen Curry.

I don't think you realize how rare 20/10 for a point guard is. . .Chris Paul has only done it twice in his career and Jason Kid has never done it. . .

I don't think you realize how rare 20/10 for a point guard is. . .Chris Paul has only done it twice in his career and Jason Kid has never done it. . .

My point is this kid is not 100 percent invested in reaching his full potential, he's performing rap shows in Lithuania during the season while he was out with an injury? The kid acts like a clown on camera, for an organization like the Lakers they need players like Ingram who's only motive is to be great. Lonzo is garbage.

im not a laker fan by any means, but ive had a chance to watch a bunch of the games as for some reason they are always on TV, and usually its on west coast time, so its pretty much the only game I can catch when I get home from work. Fact of the matter is, its not Lonzo's fault the Lakers are bad. I personally don't even think they are that bad, they're just a young team with a bunch of young players. Coach Walton does a good job of getting these young guys to play with maximum effort, and as a result a lot of the Lakers' losses were relatively close games. They just don't know how to win yet. The Lakers need to tighten up the roster. Brook Lopez is the bust. Then you are completely overloaded at the 4 with randle, nance, and kuzma. No depth at the 3. Ingram has gotten better, but he's still inconsistent too. Don't give into the media. Who **** cares if he goes to Lithuania for a day, 2 days, **** it even a week, in the SUMMER. Just because hes the number 2 pick doesn't guarantee that you were gonna yield results right away. Very few rookies get into the league and immediately make an impact. He's going to get better. He's already pretty good. Yes, he needs to work on his shot, so does everyone else. He's averaging 10, 7, 7, 1.5 steals, and like 1.3 blks a game. How are you not happy with that? Lol.

Your story goes on about how Magic isn't doing a good job and then does a 180 and finishes by saying how Magic is mad at the other guy. Makes no sense.

I can't argue with that, I'd like him to be only focused on basketball as well. But, I do think people hate on him more than anything else because of Lavar. Lonzo's shooting was up to 40%+ in the games he played when he came back. He's got talent just needs to be more aggressive. Don't think you can label him a bust 1/2 through his first season at just 20yrs old.
