Guess Phil should’ve traded him to the Celtics when he had a chance. Who would’ve thought the 7ft skinny guy was injury prone. #visionary

But this is terrible for the Knicks. I hope he makes a fully recovery, praying for the big guy.

The knicks aren't a playoff team nor are they contenders with or without porzingis. This injury is meaningless to the whole picture of the nba playoffs. This news doesn't deserve the hype its getting. Porzingis is a great player on a bad team

Is it coz all star game postpone and defer the semi break? So many players go down during 2018~~

btw, who can be selected as all star sub from Eastern?

Dang. This stings. Gosh.

Shortened preseason?

But not that bad it looks like.

The Knicks get a higher pick. So many players come back from torn ACLs just fine nowadays.

Hope he's one of those.

That's a very shortsighted view. As an NBA fan, regardless whether the Knicks good or suck, it's always sad to see a young and very talented player gets injured, especially ACL type injury. Although with medical technology today, I think KP will probably be ok and come back stronger. While I don't root for the Knicks, I can respect great talent even if they play for rival team. KP's NBA career has just barely started, I don't think it's fair to call him great player on a bad team yet, he's like what? 22 years old doing what he's doing for a mediocre Knicks team and still can make the playoff (obviously it's not happening now). He's ballin' and I can respect that.

I'm having my left ACL repaired on valentines day... we'll see who makes it back first :(

I'm sad to see him get hurt, but it will be nice to have someone publicly going through the exact same thing to compare with.

Maybe he'll be back by the 2018 opener.

Another one down for team Lebron.

Damn, tall guy with knee issues. He'll probably be a step slower when he returns.
Wish him all the best.

Nobody comes back from an ACL stronger... that's impossible... its not a broken bone where you can put a plate in it. You can hope to come back to maybe 99% of what you were but its much more likely to be less than that.

Obviously. I wasn’t talking about it in that context. It will be motivation for him.

Sad to hear. I’ve torn my acl playing basketball years ago. Had the surgery and still play to this day with very little problems. Kristaps will be fine.
