My impresion : The Cavaliers asked Lebron to commit again and once he did not..... they blew up the team and traded away his closest allies to punish him and move on from the LBJ era.

That's hilarious, you should be a comedy writer.

Dwayne doesn't have much left in the tank and wanted to retire with Miami for reasons not entirely related to just playing basketball this season (he can move into the front office, be solidified as a Heat legend and so on.) I'm sure Lebron and Dwayne were 100% in agreement this was the best move.

Cavs got way better with all their moves, btw. Shockingly so.

why the need for FO/Gilbert to ask him to commit? they already played this game w Bron yrs ago. If they were to have asked, it'll be spun and leaked in the papers the next day by BronInc.
if Bron wanted to stay, his narrative would be completely different than what he's been selling the public for 10months.
