Pacers To Sign Trevor Booker

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Wed Feb 28, 2018 7:34 pm

The Indiana Pacers will sign Trevor Booker on a minimum deal for the remainder of the season once he clears waivers.

Booker was waived by the 76ers to create a roster spot for Ersan Ilyasova.

Booker was traded by the Nets to the 76ers in November.

Him, Young and Bogs should form a good forward tandem. All three are of similar sizes, can switch between the two positions. Bogs is the best shooter, Booker the best hustle/defender and Young most versatile.

Thanks for the honesty.

Booker will be ok. Undersized but has a heap of heart. Ultimately the fact he can't shoot to save his life is why we preferred Ilyasova.

Glad to see he caught on somewhere. Liked the guy, but he just didn’t fit the Sixers roster.

Colangelo should have traded okafor and noel when their trade value was high instead waiting till it hit rock bottom. Looks bad in hindsight

If Trevor gets playing time, I think he will have a sizeable impact for the Pacers. Trevor brings just about everything Myles Turner doesn't.

In other news, I just laughed out loud after viewing the James Harden crossover the other night. That has to be one of the filthiest moves I've seen. The look at Wesley and how casually Harden knocks that 3 in was magnificent.

I didn't watch the game but after getting crossed over so badly and blatantly, I'd bet Wes Johnson had issue mustering much of anything up the rest of the game. Something like that just has to take the wind right out of the sail...

He pushed off. Obviously. It's easy to get open when you get away with a push off. Just ask MJ.......
