Kevin Durant Confirms He'll Re-Sign With Warriors

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Fri Mar 2, 2018 8:28 pm

While Kevin Durant will be a free agent again this offseason, he has been widely expected to re-sign again with the Warriors.

“Oh, you want to start this up?” Durant said when asked the question on Friday.

Durant was asked if it is as much of a foregone conclusion that he will re-sign with the Warriors as the NBA believes it to be.

“I'm not even thinking about that,” Durant said. “I'm here. I'm here. I ain't even thought about it.”

Durant was asked whether he is 100 percent certain he'll re-sign.

“Yeah,” Durant said. “Yeah.”

When Durant left the Thunder for the Warriors, he signed a two-year deal with an opt-out after Year 1.

Durant took nearly $10 million less than his max to allow the Warriors to re-sign Andre Iguodala and Shaun Livingston.

Don't believe him. If the Warriors got beaten in the playoffs, by whichever team, like OKC? He'll sign with OKC.

I mean, of course he'll re-sign there.
What did they think, he wanted to actually earn a title?

Durant is gonna coast for the rest of his career. It's whatever. Thanks for ruining the league.

This is the same man who said he wanted to spend his entire career in OKC. Take what he says with a grain of salt.

Unless they lose. If the Warriors don't win the championship this year I could see him leaving.

Superstar won't commit to the franchise. Hard for team to build the team. Like Cleveland don't know what to do with the Nets pick because they don't know what LeBron will do. What is Durant going to do? Keep signing 1+1?

If the Warriors win, he'll 100% re-sign.

Warriors can provide the 2 most important things to athletes more money and win a championship.
Most contenders dont have space most teams with space arent winning. Phi is one of only spots.

His track record? Don't know why you get so defensive about this. Durant is a great player who made a cowardly decision. That is accepted as an universal fact around these parts, so I wouldn't waste my time defending him.

Leaving a franchise after 8 seasons is your track record? please.
