J.R. Smith: Not Caring About My Numbers Has Probably Cost Me A Lot Of Money

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Mon Apr 23, 2018 10:09 pm

J.R. Smith is averaging 10.0 points on a True Shooting Percentage of .502 through the first four games of the playoffs.

Smith hit a buzzer beater at the end of the first quarter from beyond halfcourt.

"I've never been a guy who cared about my numbers like that, probably cost me a lot of money," Smith said. "Those shots, if you can get it off, I like those shots. Whether it's two or three, regardless, you want to get it in."

Smith re-signed with the Cavaliers in 2016 on a four-year, $57 million deal.

it only took 4 playoff games for JR to go FullJR-mode. according to JR, he couldve been 100m man.

He's barely an NBA player at this point in his career. 8.5 regular season PER, 6.6 PER in playoffs. His offensive rating is a laughable 89 per 100 possessions in first 4 playoff games. How he is getting 33.5mpg is beyond me.

Wait, JR is grossly overpaid right now as an aging, fading player and he thinks he could be making even more?

Nurse is below average at best.
Masai is overrated.

This is what happens when role players play with LeBron. they all think they are superhuman also.

Remember when Clarkson was all smiles and celebrating after 3's. hes a complete mute now that he's playing awful.
