Now he just needs to reunite with Doncic and lead them back to playoffs.

Fantastic coach. He helps Utah a lot. I hate to loose him. Especially to a franchise as screwed up as the Suns

Probably a good coach for a team going nowhere for at least the next few years.

Suns Is top 5 most win NBA franchise of all time...

No rings...

But success is common in the Suns franchise.

Screwed up?

They are going through a rebuilding phase that has been delayed due to the owner trying to rush making the playoffs... Most teams go through this... Maybe minus the Spurs.

In fact Mavs, Lakers are going through it as well.

Yup. Could very well be the case. I thought of Doncic as well after seeing Kokoskov's background.

Don’t the suns have the longest current playoff drought. How many coaches have they gone threw. Every player they have has bad habits from the forever rank.

Just to clarify.

Suns owner is one of the lesser capable ones in regards to making good decisions that lead to results.

Suns FO hired current GM with the thought of rebuilding... So They hired a young coach in Hornacek to lead that rebuild.

Good thing or a bad thing... The suns won 48 wins... Just missed the playoffs.

Owner felt the Suns are only a step away from being a playoff team... Scrapped the rebuild and pushed to contend.

Signed Isaiah Thomas cheaply to help backcourt just in case of injury and for additional assets for potential trades.

Suns point guards did not mesh... Led to losses. Dragic demands trade... He was all NBA 3rd team the year prior.

Suns now a bad team with young players and an Owner thinking they are on the cusp of playoffs...

GM is compromised from his rebuild plans.

Fired Hornacek because someone has to cop the bad season and turmoil ...

Hired a coach due to popularity with players rather than merit hoping it leads to improved chemistry and good performance.... But even worse than Hornacek.

Now Owner has realized the team sucks bad and best player is Booker 21 years old... So go rebuild instead... GM now finally getting his vision.

Suns owner is impatient.... That's the issue.
The Last 3 years have been one of the darkest times in ever for the franchise.

But now they have Booker, Jackson and top 4 Pick.... And cap space... And Igor.

So no... Suns are just a normal rebuilding team.

Longest playoff draught??

Probably Kings or another team.

But Suns are in the right direction finally. Maybe 2 to 3 years time they will be legit top 5 team out west hopefully.

Isn't it very disrespectful for a team that is still playing in the PO, which is paying Kokoskov right now? Could not my Phoenix Suns wait for a few weeks, even if he is already in contact with us?

2nd longest playoff drought. But I think you should temper your expectations a bit. Top 5 out West in 2-3 years? That may be a stretch. They would need to leap 10 teams, many of which are on their way up as well.

Could they find a picture that made him look more like an "Igor"?
