Rodney Hood refused to enter Cleveland's Game 4 win over the Raptors during the fourth quarter.

Hood lost his place in the rotation in the game when Tyronn Lue played Cedi Osman ahead of him.

“Rodney, he could be better,” Lue said before Game 4. “He knows that.”

Lue attempted to insert Hood into the game for James with Cleveland up by 30. Hood refused to go and Jose Calderon was subbed into the game instead.

Koby Altman will meet with Hood soon to discuss why he refused to enter the game.

Hood will be a restricted free agent this offseason.

If it's not because of some sort of injury, it's incredible there are still guys who get butthurt for losing their spot while playing like crap. Was this ever a good idea?

It's become pretty clear why the Jazz were eager to get rid of this guy.

I'll be interested to hear all sides on this one. He has never been a 2-way player, and for him to refuse to enter a playoff game is pretty bold. But if he feels that CLE are trying to hold down his RFA value by slotting him 3rd in the SF depth chart, I could see how that would breed discontentment.

The problem is, I haven't really seen him out-play Cedi, so he can't legitimately say it's a money game. Play better, don't quit on your team; if you do that, the money will take care of itself.

I am shocked he wouldn't try and impress LeBron at least with his play

Barring it was an injury:

So a mediocre guy, who has had only a few decent seasons, but also has a huge attitude/ego problem?

Well, I know who the Knicks will be maxing out

Nope not with Cleveland. But looks like Wade, JR Smith, Perkins, James Jones maybe even Korver can have a spot on any team leBron goes too next. Hood may of ruined his career now.

No way. They actually started him in the first playoff game. They traded for him and definitely want him to do well. He just needs to step the F up. Good that he apologized.
